[Lookbook 04.25.2012] Untried and untested
It's been a while since I last did a lookbook post. But I had a lot of other stuff to blog about anyway. Nevertheless, I thought I should do one, especially since April's almost over.
Today is another attempt at broadening my color-matching skills. Nothing in my outfit is new (I'm on a self-imposed shopping moratorium!) but I tried to pair stuff that I don't normally pair as far as colors go, or to pair stuff that I haven't worn together at all.
My pick were these brownish-olive skinny pants with a blue shirt. No tie today because the collar's weirdly different. And I like weird. But I left it unbuttoned because it was just so warm today -- 36ยบ Celsius!
To complete the look, I put on a pair of tan shoes and wore a similarly colored belt. It's actually quite fun revisiting what's in your closet and play with combinations you haven't tried before.
You think it works?

Perfect color match!
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeletePerfect match but I would change the shoes into classical loafers or sophisticated brogues with round tip.
