[Lookbook 07.17.2012] Feeling blue, going green

Blue and green make for a great combination, personally at least. Definitely not loud, the pairing is subtle without being boring. Here I paired some casual olive green trousers with a blue shirt. The white collar and front detailing of the shirt provide just the right amount of contrast to the ensemble. I then finished the look with a pair of camel brogues and a metal bracelet for accessory.

The outfit, though not strictly corporate, sits just fine, at least with where I work. Nevertheless, it stood in stark contrast to all the jeans my colleagues were wearing last Tuesday. While I knew we had an activity outside the office -- which was supposedly a perfect excuse to wear jeans -- I just felt of going against the grain that day. Besides, would you rather blend in the background or stand out in a crowd?
