[Lookbook 10.08.2012] For love of wine

DSC_4529adj

It's the color that I mean here. I really can't drink alcohol anymore so I'm just taking comfort in wine's color instead. And it is a beautiful color. I love its deep, dark hue and its rather muted personality -- there's a touch of color but never loud at all.

I got this jacket with accompanying pants of the same color and fabric. But I guess working in an office that doesn't really care for suits made me hold back a bit. Maybe I wasn't brave enough here to wear the complete ensemble, so I broke it down and wore black pants. And to dress it down further, I threw in a gray pullover instead of a collared shirt and tie. Works just fine, I must say.

Maybe next time I'll wear this suit jacket with the pants, button up a white shirt and a put on a nice tie. And wear a good pair of sneakers.
