That's one really huge panda!
Yes, pandas! When we went there last Nov. 30, I instantly became a kid again the minute I saw the pandas. They might be just stuffed toys but they're undeniably cute.
Me and mah baby panda.
The display isn't really a mega production like the ones at Meralco and Ayala Triangle, no, but it's a production nonetheless. There are three sections: the pandas, the white tigers, and the polar bears with some penguins. They've also incorporated some animatronics in some of them so their heads move. There's really nothing to do here but look at them and smile. And take photos, of course.
Pandas galore! Even if they aren't real, the cuteness factor is definitely still up.
I like this dude here. He's cool, chewing on those bamboo leaves.
My Bibe, are you scared to go near the panda? Ahihihi...
Even with the simplest animatronics that allow for some of the tigers's heads to move, I'm sure kids will be fascinated.
Now I can't do that with a real tiger, of course.
Those penguins in the rear are also moving.
Aw, Charlie bit my finger!
The bear's really tall!
I also love the decor at the Rustan's Supermarket there. They have these orb-lanterns covered in feathers, which look both cute and elegant all at once.
Maybe I'll make my own feather lanterns for next year. If ever I do, you'll know where I got the idea from.
As for the rest of the mall, they went classic with a gazillion poinsettias and red balls.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
The stuffed animal display is located at the 2nd floor of the mall, right along where National Bookstore is.
