Feeling like a don right there. I just came back from a quick vacay at The Peacock Garden in Bohol with My Bibe. I was happy with the hotel and we were just holed up there the whole time; no tours whatsoever.
I don't have a photo of my Day 1 outfit but it was absolute camwhoring the following day, where I went around the vast hotel grounds in a striped tank, white shorts, and leather sandals. You can say it's a bit nautical because of the red, white, and blue but summer is undeniably here already, in this part of the world at least.
Inside the main building that houses the restaurant, bar, a few other rooms, and this small lobby. Love that chandelier!
The hotel facade. The Peacock Garden is billed as a luxury boutique hotel and spa.
With the vast grounds, there's no shortage of places to sit, lie down, or just while away time.
They've planted lots of mahogany trees here. I love it when there are lots of trees.
Also at the facade.
Just checking if I can pull off a Samson here. Delilah, where art thou?
One thing I love about this place is that there's just lots and lots of detail everywhere.
The sun was at its mightiest on our last day. I couldn't resist one last chance at basking in all its glory and making a few laps in the humongous pool. I wore my favorite swim shorts with an inexpensive tank top. Like I've been saying before, I love these shorts because they're, well, really short. I feel so sexy in them even when I'm obviously fat.
Fantastic olympic-size infinity pool.
At a crossroads: kiddie pool (left) or the big one (right)?
There are also a number of Greecian-inspired statues here, two of which are by the pool area.
Unobstructed view of the Bohol Sea, with Pamilacan Island in the distance.
It was no longer about stripes for our flight back home, though, but this severe V-neck tee is in keeping with that imaginary sexy feeling I had earlier. Haha! The denim shorts are for comfort. Besides, it was just so humid. And I accessorized with some beads that I've been using for the longest time.
Chest-baring me at our small balcony.
Now enough with the vacation and on with work. Time to go back to the chaos of city life.
