[Lookbook 04.24.2013] Covered up for summer

Temperatures are rising and ironically, I decided to cover myself up. It's so easy to fall for short-sleeves and other such stuff in this weather but sometimes we need to layer, if only to dress things up a bit. And today I did just that with this lightweight jacket, at least at the office.

Apart from its neutral color that makes it easy to pair with almost anything, the jacket has a fairly soft fabric and has no lining. It's a good compromise between layering and sweating like a pig. And to keep a fresh look I put on a white shirt, paired it with blue pants, and went sock-less with olive boat shoes. The shoes sport a similar hue as the jacket's but allow me to escape a completely "matchy-matchy" look. For contrast, I went full green with the belt.
