One of the things I love about menswear online shopping site East Dane is that I get introduced to some really fine brands I've never even heard of. I admit that my knowledge of fashion, particularly of brands and designers, is not much. Just recently the site came up with Ones to Watch, a list of 5 brands it says should be on our radar, and I agree.
1. Han Kjøbenhavn
The Danish label blends innovative and classic Danish design. Its fall collection is characterized by minimalist styles, a neutral color palette, and nuanced details. Apart from jeans and trench coats, you'll also find a few pastel colors in their buttoned shirts and tees, though.
2. Robert Geller
I just love those sweatpants! But their shirts and knits are just as covetable. For fall the German-born, New York-based designer went for muted tones and dark hues.
The French label exudes Parisian cool with rich tones and textures perfect for the colder months ahead. Its signature relaxed aesthetic provides some chic yet low-key luxury. Dang, I can't get over that leather jacket!
Another Danish brand on the list, Soulland takes on a slightly futuristic take on classic menswear for fall. Jacket and trench coat aside, I am just so in love with their shirts. No matter how they fill each piece, the clever prints never appear too busy, providing a clean look with just a touch of cute.
Italy represent! True to its Italian heritage, CAMO is rich in tailoring and texture. The city nights and lights inspiration for their fall collection is evident in everything from their shirts and pullovers to their knits and even ties. Understated but definitely strong!
Still looking for something else? There are more than 200 other designers and brands on the site. Sounds overwhelming? Why not start with some men's coats before the colder weather fully sets in?
