LOOKBOOK | Dialed-down nautical for cloudy and rainy days
Summer may have officially left this part of the world but it's still hot AF despite the rains. Besides, the sun still makes a frequent appearance in between. So might a little touch of nautical in your weekend outfit still do?
Hell yeah!
A white and blue color combination is quintessentially nautical but you can always pull back if you feel like it's gonna look weird on a cloudy day, let alone if it rains. So maybe just a touch will do to take you seamlessly through the day, be it sunny, cloudy, or if the skies suddenly decide to pour itself out on us hapless humans.
In pulling back I'm here working a shirt with the tiniest stripes of blue and white instead of the usual big and bold ones. Tucked in or not, it's still perfect with white pants or shorts. Although on second thought, white pants might be too much of a dirt magnet when it's raining, so just go for shorts. Also, no boat shoes here but a comfy slip-on alternative with colorful stripes.
Do check out my review of Ted's Bed and Breakfast, where most of the photos were taken. It's a bed and breakfast in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.
Shirt (department store find, The SM Store); shorts (Regatta); shoes (Flossy Footwear); bracelet (Paragon Manila).
