A colleague commented, "Winter?" when she saw me in this outfit. Well, maybe turtleneck shirts are most associated with cold weather but this piece here is made of a fairly thin cotton fabric. It's just like any other t-shirt except that it's long-sleeved and has a turtleneck collar. So no, definitely not for winter.

I don't know why blue is associated with sadness when it's such a beautiful and happy color. I mean, think of blue skies and the ocean. I think gray communicates gloom much better, all the more when you throw in some brown to reflect the color of death. In plants, that is. But why all this despondency? Because it's Monday!

Rainy day today--with occasional wind gusts and flooding in areas to boot. While a pop of color would be nice to cheer things up a bit, I shunned all thoughts of wearing something colorful on a gloomy day . Instead I embraced the gloom and wore gray.

What a short week it's going to be! Thanks to the visiting Pope Francis, our government has declared some special holidays while his Holiness is here. But that doesn't mean it's not going to be a hectic one. Nope. Not one bit.

I realized I've been too busy with a lot of things both at work and at home, and that I haven't even had the time to post something in a week. Now an outfit post should at least address that. Today's look is purposely casual because I was going out to a different office for a meeting. And since that meeting was basically with engineers, I felt I would be totally out of place if I dressed up. Besides, it's not like the venue was within the business district. So I wore jeans. Leggings jeans as Uniqlo calls it.

I realized I haven't had any lookbook post so far this week. It's been mostly about Milan FW recently so let's take a breather. But I guess I really have been viewing too much runway photos because I worked up my own runway for today's lookbook post. Please indulge me and my frustration...
