Yesterday at work, apples were given away to interested individuals at the lobby. It's a cute gesture to herald the arrival of the iPhone 4S here in the Philippines (finally!). Local wireless provider SMART is offering the iconic iPhone for the very first time starting on December 16, practically ending the exclusivity previously enjoyed by Globe with the phone's first four releases. The iPhone 4S will be available in both postpaid and prepaid packages. "We believe everybody deserves an apple." is SMART's campaign slogan for it's maiden iPhone offering, something I find both clever and cute. And seeing all those apples yesterday at the lobby was a visual treat, very much in tune with the colors of Christmas. The overall vibe was quite festive and uplifting. And cute!
