[Project Look Book] Wednesday, October 26, 2011

My thighs are pretty sore from jogging and walking last night. It was expected, of course, because I haven't had any physical activity in months. With my body jolted out of "hibernation," I expect the soreness to linger for another day or two. But that shouldn't deter me from pursuing another jog-and-walk tomorrow. I really have to. Today I'm wearing a V-neck knit number from Giordano. I paired it with one of my trusty finds from MBK in Bangkok. It's got no specific brand, actually, and I couldn't care less. It's the cut I love most about these pants. The blazer, on the other hand, is from Topman.

After having to deal with a fickle-minded weather these past few days (it can't seem to decide if it wants to rain or shine), it finally made up its mind as it's been raining incessantly since last night. At least that got me decided on what to wear today. I chose this knitted sweater from Zara, something I don't get to wear that often. I love its predominantly light blue color and stylized collar. Didn't think much of the pants, though. It's a black one I got from BKK. As for the shoes, my blue and silver metallic lace-ups from Zara was the way to go. Now I wonder what the weather would be tomorrow. But I bet it's still gonna be a rainy day.

In the mood for blue today. Or maybe I was just looking for something that's not that difficult to iron last night. But whatever. I know I've already worn this shirt before so I searched my blog for that Look Book post where it was first shown. Only then did I realize that I was also wearing the same bow tie as now. The differences lie in the pants, belt, and shoes, though. But still, I feel like it's always the top that gets noticed more, and that all the other differences mentioned are easily drowned by the similarities. Shirt (Topman); gray pinstriped pants (from Bangkok); bow tie (Tieline); belt (Hickok at SM); brown lace-ups (Aldo).

[Project Look Book - Boracay Weekend] Saturday, May 14, 2011

The weather was just perfect over the weekend at Boracay. A dark cloud that brought a few showers passed us by on our first day, and then it was all sun. The next day I woke up to see rain and overcast skies. Thankfully after breakfast, the sun showed up and ruled mightily for the rest of the day. We welcomed the sun at Solstice, The Tides's rooftop bar. Here I'm wearing a distressed shirt I got from Ko Phi-Phi in Thailand, which I already featured in a previous post ( see here ). In that post, though, I forgot to have a shot showing the back of the shirt. This time around I also forgot but I unintentionally had this shot taken. I don't know, I always forget about that huge tiger on my back. When it was time to hit the beach, I ditched the shirt and went for a tanktop from Penshoppe.

[Project Look Book - Weekend] Saturday, April 9, 2011

Now this is a little unusual - a Look Book post on a weekend. My Bibe and I are in Tagaytay for the weekend as I write. We also dropped by Enchanted Kingdom earlier for our company's "Fun Familia," sort of like an annual timeout or outing for employees and their families. Well, we basically went there just to spend our Wizard Money. And this was what I wore: Yes, I'm wearing these weird-looking trousers I got from Kho Phi-Phi in Thailand last year. I asked the locals what they're called and they said putong (or was it pudong ?). Although I'm not solved on the information given, I have absolutely no idea what they really should be called. If you do know, please tell me.  Anyway, I also got this distressed shirt from the same lovely island. I love the Thai Buddhist print but I failed to show the back where the print is much more dominant. Maybe some other time. Slipped on some Sanuks, put on a straw hat from Zara and shades from Aldo, and I was good...
