[Throwback Thursday 07.25.2013] A messed up Wolverine
Okay, so that didn't look much like claws, did they? Besides, how weird would Wolverine be if his claws were as messed up like this?
This was back in March 2004 atop Gulugod Baboy in Batangas when I was just discovering mountaineering. After Mt Pulag, this was the second mountain that I scaled. Though it was much, much lower than Pulag, Gulugod Baboy offered a fantastic 360-degree view of the surrounding land area, sea, and islands. The sunset that day was also spectacular and we were thankful to have this photographer with us, who I only recall as Rommel, and who took some really great photos. We were, of course, more than happy to oblige to be his silhouettes for his sunset shots.
Those "claws," by the way, were some retractable poles for someone's tent.
