FRAGRANCE | Terre d'Hermes: My all-time favorite designer scent
I'm a sucker for fragrances and I do try different bottled scents all the time. But despite using different EDTs and colognes from different brands all the time—and by the way, liking them as well—I always go back to my one true favorite, Terre d'Hermes.
Packaged in a simple yet elegant—not to mention sturdy and heavy—bottle, the liquid's color is consistent with the luxury brand's trademark orange. Not that it really matters because what's most important is how it smells.
Terre d'Hermes starts off with a fresh, clean scent that is both citrusy and peppery. Even with orange as one of its top notes, it's subdued enough and is not sharp at all. The fragrance eventually graduates into a deeper, more earthy and woodsy scent but stops itself short of becoming too heavy, which makes it perfectly fine for guys to wear in the tropics like I do. It's an elegant scent, so to speak.
As for longevity, Terre d'Hermes holds up. I always get compliments whenever I wear it, even when it's already late in the day and I feel like I don't smell it anymore. But apparently others do, which is always a nice surprise.
Available in both 50mL and 100mL bottles, Terre d'Hermes is a must-try. It's my favorite after all.

If shoes are my obsession then fragances are my fetish lol. Right now I am a big fan of Gentlemen Only by Dolce & Gabanna, Fan di Fendi pour Homme and one of my all time favorites is Emporio Armani Diamonds...drives me nuts.
