FRAGRANCE | Gucci by Gucci Sport (Pour Homme)
It's a fragrance I wonder why I even bought in the first place. It's not a bad fragrance, don't get me wrong, but it's a purchase I kind of regret.
Packaged in a sturdy yet elegant bottle, Gucci by Gucci Sport Pour Homme is a fresh and not-too-ordinary scent. If the liquid's green color is any indication, this fragrance hints at fresh, aromatic leaves--pine, actually. And combined with citrus top notes, it's a rather sophisticated alternative to the usual shower fresh scents of some sporty colognes.
But then the party comes to an abrupt stop.
After what feels like a mere hour or two, it's gone. Seriously, this fragrance has extremely poor longevity! And I thought Dolce & Gabbana's The One had such weak staying power; Gucci by Gucci Sport is much, much worse.
So much for its vetiver and mild musk base because there's hardly anything to sniff upon dry down. Wearing it entails multiple spritzes throughout the day, and resorting to spraying it directly on your clothes does little to prolong its life.
Too bad.
