LOOKBOOK | It's actually easy being green
Compared to black, blue, and gray, green certainly isn't a color you see that often in suits—which is why I picked it up in the first place. It's a great option if you want to differentiate yourself from most suit-wearing guys. This one I'm wearing is actually a fairly safe bet since it's in a shade that's not bright and is somehow on the earthy end of the spectrum.
What to wear with it, you might ask. Well, I've tried this green suit with a pink shirt before. I suppose certain light shades of brown or yellow could also work but if you're not comfortable yet, there's always the fail-safe white or in this case, black. It's a dressed-down look; hence, the V-neck pullover instead of a shirt although I couldn't resist tucking in a pocket square. Black shoes would be predictable, so I went for maroon oxfords instead. I thought they were more interesting.
How about you, are there colors you're not comfortable wearing?
