Ey, kamusta?
We're currently on a hybrid work arrangement where I work. Recently, though, they designated Friday as a mandatory work from home day, and of course, it's music to my ears. That said, I suppose Thursday is now the new Friday for us, when I get to be a lot less "corporate" with my outfits. So yeah, it's jeans and a hoodie for me. The choice of footwear was a last-minute switch when I realized that the high-cut sneakers I was supposed to wear were peeling off in some parts—a casualty of the pandemic, if you may. Sad.
My hoodie, by the way, says "Maya," which was formerly known as PayMaya. The rebrand saw the old app's transformation into more than just an e-wallet. It's now your all in one money app and probably the only one you'll ever need for digital financial services. Apart from sending and receiving money, making online and QR payments, paying bills and all that, Maya lets you trade crypto currencies right within the app. Yes, you can conveniently buy and sell Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a host of other crypto currencies. There's also a helpful how to for beginners, graphs, customizable alerts, and more.
One more thing worth checking is the app's savings and lending features through Maya Bank. Opening a savings account is easy and the interest rate is way above the ones offered by traditional banks. Right now, there's a promotional 6% per annum rate that you might want to take advantage of. There's also a really cool Personal Goals feature that can help you overcome your "adulting" struggles and be financially responsible in general.
Of course there's more—and even more to come—but I'll just leave the discovering to you. What I can say is that Maya truly is everything and a bank. If you still don't have Maya, download the app now and use the following invite code:
