As Sheldon (of The Big Bang Theory ) would say, dear Lord! Lots of things to do. The Holidays are also fast approaching and before we know it, the year's over. Dear Lord! Anyway, I have a little affair with red today. There's the bow tie, the belt, and the socks. Red goes well with pink anyway. And brown.

Since yesterday my colleague, Jen , has been wearing the hat of my photographer. Unlike my existing all-female trio (Jas, Aple and Joanne), all of whom were approached by me, Jen volunteered. Well, it's more like she's "practicing" on me, as we'd like to call it in jest. But you know what, my daily shoot is pretty straightforward: I'm nearly always against a blank wall in the office, and close to the glass panels for some lighting. Outdoor shots are a rarity. In fact, my camera settings sometimes remain unchanged for a couple of days if the weather is consistent. But I'm happy I have someone new. Moving on with today's outfit, I realized I haven't worn a tie in a while. So today's the day. It's just one of my cheap SM Department Store finds, but good enough to top off today's outfit. Hey, it's value for money, and it goes well with my very old crumpled Martin Box shirt from Prima Linea and Memo brown dress pants. I u...

So I've had no Project Look Book  posts for the past two days. Monday I was sick, and Tuesday I wasn't able to get a ride (car's still in the shop for repairs). People were asked to go home at 1PM, though, because of inclement weather. I mean, it was just raining like crazy yesterday! Anyway I'm back to work, and I'm loving my trench a lot. Yes, I thought it was the perfect time to sport this trench coat from Topman. Because the weather here is hot and humid by default, I don't get to wear it that often. Underneath it I wore a bright blue shirt from Martin Box (available at Linea Italia) paired with blue dress pants from Sahara at SM. The shoes are from Traffic. I just want to share with you that it was strange to have perfectly lit photos today given the gloomy weather outside. We didn't even turn the lights on yet I found the pictures with just the right amount of light, some bordering on overexposed even. Check them out.

My Bibe 's off to Iloilo for work for the next three days and so I'm all alone with the cats again. Earlier this evening, at least three people told me they'll be waiting for today's Project Look Book  post. It's late and so here goes... I actually wore this shirt already for my project last February (see here ) but I'm pairing it with black pants this time around. Bringing a suit jacket along doesn't hurt either. I love the liveliness of the shirt's print even when the only bright color here is yellow, which is actually more like an accent only to the more dominant black and brown. It's Martin Box, a brand the Linea Italia group carries in all its stores. It may be purely coincidental but I seem to gravitate towards the brand's items. For one they fit well and they're also more affordable than most items in their stores. Okay, so that's why. Suit jacket (Merger); tie (from SM Department Store); tie clip (a gift from M...

I know of people who are into photo projects like Project 365 . My officemate, Gay, is in fact on her third year already. On top of it, she now has Project Rainbow . I've been poring over what photo project to commit to, considering I'm quite lazy. Even if I take pictures, it will take, like, forever before they get uploaded somewhere. And so before my first working day of the year ended, I thought of celebrating my love for fashion. Why not "document" my office getup every single work day of the year? Project Vanity, Project Narcissism, Project Vainglory all sounded too negative (think Sue Sylvester wanting to marry herself).  Project Look Book  sounded a lot better. So Project Look Book it is! New year, new clothes, although they were bought last year. Shirt from Martin Box at Linea Italia (I have another one in blue!), Pants from Memo. Both were "accidents" as I call them, meaning, unplanned purchases. The shirt I got on Christmas while looki...
