[Project Look Book] Tuesday, December 20, 2011

It was our department's Christmas party today. This year we had it differently and veered away from our usual nighttime soiree with a program and all. Instead, we had a "sparty" where people enjoyed foot spa and back massages. However, it was far from the usual relaxing spa experience because it was noisy like any typical gathering. Well, no one was really expecting a zen-like ambiance in the first place. There were card and board games, a videoke (karaoke) and a Wii station set up. The pool was also available although no one really cared for a dip. So I was just in jeans and a t-shirt, then I slipped on a pair of Sanuks. It was my first time wearing this tee, though. It was our team's collective Christmas gift for everyone in our department last year. I like the fit but I wasn't happy with the printing. Oh well. After lunch I changed to shorts and flip-flops.

[Project Look Book - Weekend] Saturday, April 9, 2011

Now this is a little unusual - a Look Book post on a weekend. My Bibe and I are in Tagaytay for the weekend as I write. We also dropped by Enchanted Kingdom earlier for our company's "Fun Familia," sort of like an annual timeout or outing for employees and their families. Well, we basically went there just to spend our Wizard Money. And this was what I wore: Yes, I'm wearing these weird-looking trousers I got from Kho Phi-Phi in Thailand last year. I asked the locals what they're called and they said putong (or was it pudong ?). Although I'm not solved on the information given, I have absolutely no idea what they really should be called. If you do know, please tell me.  Anyway, I also got this distressed shirt from the same lovely island. I love the Thai Buddhist print but I failed to show the back where the print is much more dominant. Maybe some other time. Slipped on some Sanuks, put on a straw hat from Zara and shades from Aldo, and I was good...

[Project Look Book - Weekend] Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011

Went to the Legaspi Sunday Market (related post later). While my Project Look Book was originally intended for my office getup only, I've decided to include "ad hoc" posts as well to cover weekend strolls, events attended, vacations, etc. - all because I wore fisherman's pants. Got them from Ko Phi-Phi in Thailand last year. It's one size fits all. I was really clueless at first but I quickly got around. I have another one in maroon. I don't know but I just really love them, the relaxed feel they give me. They go well with my Sanuks. I'll feature more of the fisherman's pants, including how to wear it, in another post.
