It's a new week, and one of the last few left in the year. Next week I'll be visiting my mom and my little sister in Cebu. It's been more than a year now so I guess it's time to check on them. Today I'm in a lot of purple. The shirt's something from Rajo Laurel for Wharton. I'm happy with this shirt because I get to wear cuff links (yay!). So I'm a bit more "corporate" today, hence, the tie, which is actually from an old office uniform set. I wore blue pants since blue goes well with purple. Then brown shoes and belt, of course, for a more formal look. I keep on saying I'm more corporate and more formal today. Until you see the socks...

After enduring a devastating typhoon last Tuesday, it was practically sunny the whole day today. Unfortunately for still a lot of people, though, there are areas north of Metro Manila that are still flooded, some even isolated following the effects of the typhoon. Then there's another one (Quiel) approaching the country. Hopefully this one won't be as bad. Better yet, I hope it just weakens and dissipates so as to spare us, or any other neighboring country for that matter, from further misery. Meanwhile, we conducted a training today on IT auditing fundamentals. It was just us within our department so it was very relaxed. I also took advantage of the venue for today's post. Although it was still in the same building, at least we were on a higher floor, which allowed us lots of light to work with. I wore black. Funny, but a lot of us in the office today were clad in black. The shirt's from Tieline. Yes, it may be black but thanks to those details in front it ...

Our team won last night in our department's mini bowling tourney! It was unexpected to say the least since we were in the last two lanes and no one seemed to care much about us. We were just having a good time, eating pizza, fries, and tuna sisig , and then it was announced that we were advancing to the championship round. To top it off, the MVP -- the player with the highest total pin falls -- was also from our team. I was second. Ha! Ha! Anyway, today I'm wearing a shirt from Merger paired with black dress pants from Zara. With its super-undersized collar, the shirt was really made to be worn with a bow tie, so I wore one from Tieline. The pants, by the way, are black. They just look brown because of the color of the glass window at the office. The belt is also from Merger, and the shoes, Aldo.

Thumbs up! But what for, I really don't know. Maybe for Scotty winning American Idol. Not that he was my favorite of the bunch but because he was my favorite of the two. His deep country voice amuses me so much. So a typhoon is coming but we're still on watch if it will actually hit the Philippines. Today it was very sunny, though, perfect timing for this short-sleeved shirt from Rajo Laurel for Wharton. The shirt actually came with a bow tie of the same pattern but I opted for contrast with this clip-on from Tieline. About the weather, I just don't know if it's gonna rain again later as was the pattern three days in a row. Pants (G2000); shoes (Aldo); wristwatch (Kenneth Cole Reaction).

It's Monday and I'm on the warpath with my ISP. So I've folded up my sleeves, ready to fight. Shirt (Van Heusen); tie (Pierre Cardin); tie bar (Tieline); pants (Sahara at SM); shoes (Aldo).

Last night it rained so hard with accompanying thunder and glorious lightning. But this morning, it seemed like no such thing happened because the sun was beating down mightily and needless to say, it was so hot! Good thing I didn't give in last night to the temptation of planning today's outfit around a rainy weather. The checkered shirt is from 5cm, paired with black pants from Sahara at SM, and finished off with a bow tie from Tieline/Merger.

In the mood for blue today. Or maybe I was just looking for something that's not that difficult to iron last night. But whatever. I know I've already worn this shirt before so I searched my blog for that Look Book post where it was first shown. Only then did I realize that I was also wearing the same bow tie as now. The differences lie in the pants, belt, and shoes, though. But still, I feel like it's always the top that gets noticed more, and that all the other differences mentioned are easily drowned by the similarities. Shirt (Topman); gray pinstriped pants (from Bangkok); bow tie (Tieline); belt (Hickok at SM); brown lace-ups (Aldo).

All black today. Still thinking of what happened to Japan last Friday and praying at the same time that they be spared from a nuclear disaster. I picked the shirt first then every other black piece followed except for the bow tie, which is purple. I kind of love the detailing on the shirt. It's Anthony Nocom from SM. Pants (Sahara at SM); shoes (Frank at Traffic); bow tie (Tieline at Merger).

What can I do, it's Monday? I think that's what sums up this dorky pose. Yeah, it's the dork in me. At least I ended the day in a good mood after a terrible morning. And I mean really terrible. Shirt (Topman); bow tie (Tieline); shoes (Aldo).

Bow tie day! Yey! Got this basic tie from Tieline/Merger a few years back for our Christmas party. Only late last year did I have the guts to wear bow ties in the office, and my collection is growing. Shirt from Topman , belt from Merger, shoes by Frank at Traffic. The pants I got from Bangkok.

I know of people who are into photo projects like Project 365 . My officemate, Gay, is in fact on her third year already. On top of it, she now has Project Rainbow . I've been poring over what photo project to commit to, considering I'm quite lazy. Even if I take pictures, it will take, like, forever before they get uploaded somewhere. And so before my first working day of the year ended, I thought of celebrating my love for fashion. Why not "document" my office getup every single work day of the year? Project Vanity, Project Narcissism, Project Vainglory all sounded too negative (think Sue Sylvester wanting to marry herself).  Project Look Book  sounded a lot better. So Project Look Book it is! New year, new clothes, although they were bought last year. Shirt from Martin Box at Linea Italia (I have another one in blue!), Pants from Memo. Both were "accidents" as I call them, meaning, unplanned purchases. The shirt I got on Christmas while looki...
