[Lookbook 01.31.2013] Black olive

I was feeling quite casual last Thursday because at least to me, it was the last working day of the week already, as I was going on a short holiday. No ties whatsoever; just this black, low-cut shirt here worn over a white V-neck tee. I had to wear something underneath because I was at work and I couldn't just saunter around and show off my hairy chest, can I?

I was actually set on a pink t-shirt underneath because I thought white was so predictable. But I couldn't find my pink V-neck. I guess it was sucked into a black hole at home or something.

For trousers, I picked this slim-cut, olive number right here. For shoes, I didn't venture far from today's color spectrum; I wore black. But to inject just a bit more life into my outfit, I put on these striped green socks. They provide just the right amount of surprise whenever I sit.

The shirt, by the way, also has this string detail that goes around my body. I could use more of these, though.

Happy Monday!
