LOOKBOOK | Lightweight layering

With the rainy season kicking in, we're expecting jackets, sweaters, and hoodies to find their way out of people's closets once again. But since it never really gets too cold in this country, perhaps we could go for some lightweight layering.

I'm wearing here a piece from Uniqlo's collab with Tomas Maier, which is essentially a summer collection. It's a super lightweight jacket--meant for summer, yes--but which can very well be suited for the rainy days, too, because like I said, it never really gets too cold.

Underneath I wore a lightweight pullover paired with khaki jeans. The color scheme of white, khaki, and army green of course works. The shoes, though, aren't really for the monsoon months (you see, these photos were taken before summer bid farewell). But if you'll just be indoors somewhere and won't be negotiating your way through heavy rain, I think you're good. Otherwise, some sneakers or boots would be more appropriate.
