The relaxed fit clothes trend is becoming more and more commonplace these days, most notably among Gen Z kids. But this vibe reminds me a lot of the 90s of my youth, where nearly everything was baggy. However, with their updated take on what has been, today's pieces feel more refined somehow, and I am increasingly falling in love with them by the day.

No, it's not Earth Day. Far from it actually. It's just me sporting some earth tones  in shades of green—well, except for the shoes. If only I had a pair in some greenish hue, I would have probably went for it, too. However, I did break the chromatic theme with this blue and white varsity jacket when it got uncomfortably cold in the office.

Weather's just a wee bit colder than usual, which to me is most welcome. Perfect day to wear a pullover --a pullover with a huge P on it. I guess P is for pullover after all. Pullovers, sweaters, sweatshirts--whatever you call them--are pretty basic pieces that give us plenty of room for styling. It's all up to the wearer how to show some personality. After working a knit sweater with green pants   recently, I'm again wearing green pants, though in a lighter shade. I'm trying a gray on green ensemble  while holding on to what's left of our Yggdrasil from last week's Halloween office decor  before we completely tear it down.

I have a thing for knits . They're comfy, plain and simple. You don't have to fuss about them so much because you just put them on and you're good to go. Where I come from the climate unfortunately isn't kind enough for us to enjoy knitwear so much. But sometimes--just sometimes--we get those moments that allow us to wear them, like rainy days, for instance.

I do admit that wearing darker-hued trousers leaves a man with much less trouble in picking a shirt and jacket to go with it. Now colored pants --much so bright ones--can be a little challenging at times. But then it's nice to wear some color, even on occasion. Take, for instance, green. Just what do you wear it with? Here are a few ideas that I've pulled off myself, extracted from my lookbook archives . Bright green I don't know what shade of green this is but pairing it with a white shirt is your safest bet. White belt, why not? The bold color just screams casual, so loafers are in order. A dark blue jacket probably wouldn't hurt but if you're feeling a little adventurous, why not put on a madras jacket like this one? Even if it's a patterned jacket, it still works because the dominant color is blue. Besides, it's also anchored on the little blue, red and white details on my loafers.
