LOOKBOOK | Cream and green

halfwhiteboy - cream oversize t-shirt and green relaxed fit pants 01

The relaxed fit clothes trend is becoming more and more commonplace these days, most notably among Gen Z kids. But this vibe reminds me a lot of the 90s of my youth, where nearly everything was baggy. However, with their updated take on what has been, today's pieces feel more refined somehow, and I am increasingly falling in love with them by the day.

The green pants are part of a baggy suit set but I decided to wear them as separates for now. The color is certainly something. Even though it's not really much of a deal for me, apparently other people find it rather unusual, something that few can pull off. Really? Anyway, how ironic that the pants are pleated because I used to hate pleats so much. I felt they were unfashionable and that they only added volume to what should have been perfectly tapered, slim-fitting trousers. Tastes change, I suppose.

Moving on, I feel so relaxed and light on my feet in these pants, said feeling bolstered perhaps by my choice of footwear. For my top, I picked this textured oversize t-shirt and wore it tucked in, accentuating yet another of my trousers' characteristics—that they're high-waisted, albeit not too much. (On a side note, I'm still on a passive hunt for some really high-waisted pants.)

The scarf here is my only arsenal against the office air conditioning. It's a fun accessory since I can wear it in so many different ways as I please.
