The first time I saw Memo Paris 's Tamarindo in store, I thought it was a tamarind-based fragrance, which would have been really interesting. Turns out it's named after a place in the tropics and there's absolutely no tamarind in here. But my, what a tropical scent this is!

Irish Leather EDP was one of the maiden releases under Memo Paris's Cuir Nomades line in 2013. I don't know which came first between this and Italian Leather , though, but both are green takes on leather for me.

One of the initial releases under their Cuir Nomades line , Italian Leather by Memo Paris is a fairly green take on leather. The opening is sharp because of pepper, which, aside from basically anything sweet, seems to be a favorite in leather-based fragrances. That said,  Davidoff Leather Blend and ScentSmith Perfumery's Pink Pepper Leather come to mind.

Trying out French Leather EDP from Memo Paris's Cuirs Nomades line . It opens with an unmistakable rose note and a huge squeeze of citrus - lime, I've read. The rose is bright, fresh, but is repeatedly being challenged by the lime and accompanying pepper. There's a certain sharpness as a result, and can get a little unpleasant—headache-inducing even—if you smell it up close. Although it's still the rose that (thankfully) projects more, I feel that we never really get to see it in full bloom.
