I got this partial bottle of Yohji Homme from a fellow fraghead a while back. Although I don't know the exact year of production, it appears to be the vintage 1999 formulation. This is obviously why the friend who sold me this has since been courting me into selling it back to him. Sorry, bro, touch-move ( *wicked smile* ).

  Fahrenheit 32 was the third flanker Dior released under the Fahrenheit line. This was in 2007, four years after 0 Degree (which is still missing in my collection). As with its predecessors, it, too, has since been discontinued. While the bottle's shape is retained, it completely departs from the orangey and reddish hues customary for Fahrenheit. It's white and clear ombre, as if hinting at how different this flanker is from the rest of the lot.

Fourteen years after the release of the original Fahrenheit , Dior decided to release a flanker: Fahrenheit Summer . This was in 2002 and was followed by two more editions in 2006 and 2007. I believe neither of these are in production anymore. My bottle here, gloriously marked with scratches, is from 2006.

As I write this, the unrelenting gasoline price hikes have been hitting the memes to no end. Even fragheads have joined in the fray, sharing memes about wearing something expensive—gasoline that is. Of course no one in his right mind would do such a thing but there is one fragrance you can safely wear that's famous for its gasoline accord and one that remains unrivaled to this day: Dior 's groundbreaking 1988 classic, Fahrenheit .

I was not that into fragrances yet at the time but apparently the original Yves Saint Laurent M7  (of the Tom Ford era) caused quite a stir when it was launched back in 2002. Controversial ad campaign  aside, it was regarded as groundbreaking for introducing oud to western fragrances. I got hold of the reissue first, M7 Oud Absolu , and then later, a partial tester bottle of the original.

I've always found a lot to love about vintage fashion. It's hard to put a finger on it but looking at all those old photos, it was all cool. And dignified, might I add. Very gentlemanly. This summer, channel that old-school cool with these vintage-inspired looks from East Dane and saunter your way through the season with dignified swag. Oh yeah! The might of white White -- okay, even cream -- is a color we guys shouldn't be afraid of. Where normally one would dress according to the weather, it was the other way around with me today: the weather behaved according to my outfit. So instead of saying my outfit is perfect for today's wet weather, I'd say my turtleneck and jacket are perfect for this rainy Wednesday! You see, I've decided the other night that instead of just phony image distortions and floating coins for Magneto week, it should be my outfit that reflects the inspiration from the iconic villain in the first place. As I've previously written, MBK has been surprising me with stuff when it's not yet my birthday. Apart from the " Gayfit " tank tops, she bought me a vintage wrist watch from eBay. It's a Bulova automatic. She was supposed to give it to me on my birthday but the package came much earlier than expected and she just couldn't contain her excitement. So she handed it to me.

MBK has been finding joy lately in scoring vintage finds online. And she surprised me last week with something for me. A little birthday present, she says. Actually, it's one of several presents so far. My birthday's not due 'till next week and the surprises just keep on coming. Oh how I love her. I'm one lucky guy. Anyway, this is what she bought me from eBay: Two tank tops with that unmistakable style from the '70s! See the photo prints, the colored piping - they're so '70s! They fit so snugly and I wonder, were people back then that thin? But I love 'em. In fact, the fabric is very much different from those of today and is arguably of better quality. But what's really funny about them is this: Yes, the tag says Gayfit ! From what MBK read on the item description, they're "dead stocks," never sold, never worn.
