[Lookbook 10.30.2012] Setting a casual tone with teal
October's almost over and this is only my second lookbook post for the month. Oh well. Anyway, today I'm keeping a more casual look, with my shoes practically setting the tone. Definitely not dress shoes, they also have quite the color - teal.
Since I was going casual, I picked chinos. I thought they'd be good with the shoes, although I tried a slightly far-off color. I wanted something that's not blue. I insisted on wearing blue socks, however. And a blue fabric belt with leather on both ends.
I kept the top simple with a white shirt with light blue stripes and some crisscrossing white patterns all over. I say the shirt just might have dressed it up a bit somehow. I originally thought of wearing a bow tie but it didn't look quite right when I looked in the mirror this morning, so I decided against it.
Now I have to attend to my DIY Halloween costume. Ciao!
Shirt (Topman); chinos (Bench); belt (Celio); socks (H&M); shoes (Rajo Laurel for Milanos at SM Dept. Store).
