LOOKBOOK | When you're pressed for time to press your clothes

Image
Still not used to this return to the office thing. For one, ironing is such a chore. It may sound ironic but thank God for suits because I have a couple hanging ready for months. They're perfect for when I haven't prepared anything in advance and I'm pressed for time. And since offices are mostly casual these days, I need not worry about a shirt because a pullover easily does the trick.

FRAGRANCE | What's angelic about Choeurs des Anges EDP by Atelier des Ors?

Image
Choeur des Anges was my gateway fragrance to Atelier des Ors . When I first saw it shared in a local frag group a couple of years ago, I was instantly mesmerized by those gold leaf particles swirling in its bright, golden juice. While I'm aware they serve no practical purpose, I'm a sucker for presentation, so eventually I got a bottle.

If first day highs are a thing, what to make of second days? After starting off my back to the office week with a rather drab outfit of grays and blacks , I thought of sporting something bright and cheerful. Let's make second day highs a thing as well!

LOOKBOOK | Return to office first day high

Reality bites. I always knew that this work from home setup won't be forever. That we would one day be mandated to return to the office was inevitable. I kept pushing such thoughts to the back of my mind, to its deepest recesses, to some place I hopefully could never access. But then came the day.

FRAGRANCE | Oajan EDP by Parfums de Marly: Balanced gourmand sweetness with a generous sprinkling of cinnamon

Image
Oajan by Parfums de Marly was one of the first frags from this house that I really liked (although it was ultimately Herod that I ended up with first). Unlike Layton , Layton Exclusif , Percival , Kalan , etc., which all ended up annoyingly sharp on my skin, Oajan did not.

I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact that we'll be reporting back to the office soon. Working from home has been good for me, a blessing actually. The problem is that I've become so used to wearing what normal people wear at home (with the occasional "half-body" dressing up for cam-on meetings of course) that I'm not sure if I still know how to wear shoes. I don't even know if they're still okay to begin with.

LOOKBOOK | Halloween 2021: Imma rapper, yo! Or am I?

Image
So no, I did not wear my Squid Game Player 456 costume on All Hallows' Eve. Twice, thrice was more than enough wearing, I guess. Not really knowing what to wear, however, Kwittiegirl and I went through our closets to see what we can put on. So I ended up as a rapper. Or at least what I thought a rapper looks like.
