LOOKBOOK | Bluer than blue

No, I'm not sad; I just felt like wearing an all-blue outfit. I thought, if mixing and matching outfits of different colors is a challenge—and you are in absolutely no mood for a challenge—then why not avoid the problem and go for the same shade?

Little did I realize that I would love the look so much. I don't know if it's the navy blue hue or the fact that it's a suit but the whole outfit looks so chic and polished. But even if I don't put the jacket on, the effect is pretty much the same. Perhaps it's the attitude?

Anyhow, in keeping with my monochrome theme, I chose black for my leather. I know brown is always a wise choice with navy but I was going for something else here. Brown would only distract in this case.

I've done monochromatic looks in the past—an all-black outfit for a wedding, an all-white ensemble for a party—but I don't think I've done blue, at least blue as dark as this. There's just something about them. Iba ang dating, as we would say in Filipino. Now I'm thinking of replicating this look with other colors. Brown perhaps? Gray? Time to rummage through all my stuff then.

So what do you guys think? Any other color I should do next?
