Took my MSCHF Big Red Boots out for a spin since I hardly ever wear them. Although they're fun to wear, I need to be in the right mood because of how bulky they are. But whenever I wear them, it's instant happiness not just for me but for those around me as well.

We all know about Monday blues all too well. But how about Friday blues? Well, this is it—blue-dominant tee, blue jeans, and blue sneakers. 

No, I'm not sad; I just felt like wearing an all-blue outfit . I thought, if mixing and matching outfits of different colors is a challenge—and you are in absolutely no mood for a challenge—then why not avoid the problem and go for the same shade?

I don't know how the color blue came to be associated with sadness because just look at this blue-themed Holiday decor . Isn't it so festive? I love how my outfit matches the setting, or rather, how the setting matches my outfit.

It sure is great to wake up to mornings like this, sun shining brightly through huge glass windows, with unimpeded views of the vast blue sea. But this isn't some secluded private villa atop a cliff in an exotic remote island where you can simply look out of the window in your birthday suit. I mean, sure you can, but I choose to wear clothes.

When going on trips to the beach or any place that involves swimming, I often reach for tank tops and t-shirts to go with my swim shorts. On our recent trip to Cebu , however, I made a conscious effort to also try buttoned shirts. So here I was sporting a long-sleeved shirt--sleeves rolled up--while enjoying the Kawasan Falls in Badian, Cebu . It's a blue on blue swimwear ensemble : light-hued top and dark-colored shorts, plain vs printed. And oh, even the sandals I was wearing were blue! Hmm...the dry bag, too.

Yes, I know it's horrible: I deliberately went for a matchy-matchy getup. I know how overly color-coordinated outfits are often frowned upon but I went with it anyway. Whether I realized it too late or I was really aware of it from the start doesn't matter because I was matchy-matchy in cerulean blue . Blame it on the shoes.

I sense an entity behind me. And boom, there were two!

Lotsa blue! Isn't it great when the skies suddenly decide to just pour out right when people are about to leave work, forcing everyone in what should have been rush hour to, well, not rush? Because traffic is at a standstill. So to while away time I gave in to my vanity urges and thought of doing an outfit post.

Oh wow, a red carpet event! Nah. If I were on an actual red carpet event I wouldn't be in this outfit. I mean, I'm not in a suit or a tux? Common! This was actually just at the office today. Our department had our annual Rewards and Recognition (R&R) program and the committee set up a photo wall for us. Nice!
