LOOKBOOK | Mint fresh
I don't think anyone would hate t-shirts. Be it a graphic print tee, a biker/rocker tee, a classic anime like Voltes V tee, or a cutesy character tee, there will always be a tee for everybody. Its print or design may have a lot to do with a t-shirt's appeal to someone, especially since simply pairing it with jeans, joggers, or shorts already makes for an outfit in the most convenient way possible.
But there's also a lot to be said of its plain counterparts. Because there are no distracting or clashing prints whatsoever, a simple plain t-shirt offers the wearer a canvas on which to build a whole look. Of course it looks just as fine with jeans, joggers, or shorts, but it most certainly looks way better with more formal trousers than any printed tee would. A plain tee is simply more versatile.
Throwing over a jacket or blazer, like I did here, will dress your t-shirt and jeans ensemble up in a jiffy. Conversely, a plain tee could very well work with a suit for a dressed-down look.
In terms of color coordination, mint green sits very well with blue and gray, which makes for a fairly safe pairing. Probably the only risk I took here was with the shoes because this light brown pair would hardly be any one's intuitive pick. But I sure had fun with the multicolored socks.
So what do you guys think?
